How to STOP Workplace Gossip at Work

What can we do to stop all that gossip and negative verbiage towards others in your office?

First start with yourself and extend these tips to all people in your organization from top leaders to staff:


First start with yourself and extend these tips to all people in your organization from top leaders to staff:


1. Define bullying

2. Write a policy about workplace bullying prevention

3. Make sure these policies are carried out by others

4. Be aware of your own behavior so that you do not bully others or 

    others do not bully you.

5. Become an Upstander! When you see bullying occurring, let others know that someone is being bullied.

6. Stop the bullying when it happens. Speak up!

7. Prevent the bullying from occurring again - make sure policies are implemented!
