If you are a manager of a department and you allow bullying to occur-the following happens:
....the person who is bullied gets stressed,loses confidence, will be absent often;
....the bystanders who watch the bullying will be afraid to speak up--and a toxic culture
in the office will be created;.
....the one who is bullied will not look forward to working everyday and say who needs this,
and think I am leaving;
....the company will need to start looking for other people to replace those who leave as a
result of the toxic culture in the office;.
.....the company will open itself up to litigation and court cases--which will lose money
for the company.
Can we not think of stopping this cycle and include bullying prevention conduct in the organizational structure of the corporate environment?
