Changing Attitudes Towards Bullying: When To Start?
It seems to me adults allow bullying to occur in the schools primarily because they don't know how to handle it. Secondly, they don't know what to do when it occurs, especially when their child engages in bullying or is bullied.
It is important to educate all people concerned and affected here: children, peers, schools, families and communities. We need to learn how to work together and build relationships, in order to decrease instances of bullying.
Perhaps if we stopped #bullying in the earlier grades from ages three and up, and encouraged a home environment that did not produce bullies nor encouraged children to be bullied - then fewer bullies would exist in the workplace as adults.
